Save the date: CCBC 2024

SBC, CLC and the Environmental Defence Society are pleased to announce the date for the 16th Climate Change & Business Conference. The 2024 event will be held again at the Viaduct Events Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on 9-10 September, and the theme for this year's conference is Leading Climate Action. Why business flocked to COP28

Last year's COP was the largest of its kind, with around 85,000 people from around the world coming together in Dubai – and the scale of the event was due in large part to the enormous business delegation, including over a dozen SBC and CLC organisations. SBC is proud to again partner with Kantar to deliver the 2024 Better Futures Report, which provides key insights into consumer perspectives on sustainability and more. NEW: thinkstep-anz - Measuring embodied carbon in the built environment

We must urgently reduce carbon emissions from the built environment to meet our climate goals. This includes operational and embodied carbon.
