MfE consultation open on the use of highly productive land | The Ministry for the Environment (MfE) wants feedback on managing the use and development of highly productive land, including renewable electricity generation (particularly solar), intensive indoor primary production (eg indoor pig, poultry and mushroom farms) and greenhouses. Consultation closes on the 31 October, so have your say here.

Toyota NZ increases commitment to hydrogen technology | Toyota New Zealand is advancing its activity in the hydrogen ecosystem by partnering with French sustainability energy solutions provider EODev. Toyota is investing $3.27 million to assemble hydrogen fuel cell generators in Melbourne, and Toyota New Zealand will then look to import and distribute them domestically. Learn more here. | | | |
