ETS settings updated, CCC recommendations embedded | We’re pleased to see the Government has accepted the recommendations outlined by the CCC in updating the Emissions Trading Scheme unit limits and price control settings for 2023-2028. SBC and CLC are preparing a joint submission to MfE's current consultation which will look to ensure the ETS is fit for the job ahead, so keep an eye out for the final version. | | | |

Ravensdown receives first shipment of low-carbon urea | Ravensdown has recieved a 2,700 tonne shipment of low-carbon urea, which produces 64% less CO2 than standard processing. With urea accounting for 36% of fertiliser used in New Zealand, this is a significant step in helping farmers lower their GHG emissions, with Ravensdown working through the value chain to support them. | | | |
