SBC Talks Tools with ESP

We're very excited to introduce a new video series called SBC Talks Tools, which features members who offer unique tools or services designed to help other businesses decarbonise. In our first episode, we had the pleasure of speaking with Lincoln Watson (CEO of ESP) about their carbon reporting software that's successfully killed off hundreds of spreadsheets for clients. 

   

Government announces national public transport ticketing

The Government has announced the signing of the National Ticketing Solution contract for a new public transport single payment system, designed to make it easier and more attractive for Kiwis to use public transport around the country. The Minister says this new technology will be convenient, easy to use, and offer a consistent customer experience.

   

Mike's updates from Tokyo

The WBCSD 2022 Council Meeting is about halfway through, and Mike says there have already been a number of key learnings he will be bringing back to New Zealand off the back of the conference. KPMG release report on sustainable finance in New Zealand

Our sustainable finance market is developing but still lacks sufficient scale and maturity, according to a new report from KPMG New Zealand and Toitū Tahua: Centre for Sustainable Finance. "The opportunities are enormous and the change is inevitable, now it’s down to how quickly we can mobilise and align with international shifts.”
