Climate change case vs seven NZ corporates to proceed

The Supreme Court yesterday unanimously allowed activist and plaintiff Mike Smith to proceed with his climate change challenge against seven New Zealand companies in a standard High Court trial. CHEP accredited as a Top Employer in New Zealand

CHEP has been certified as a Top Employer in New Zealand for the first time, becoming one of only 15 organisations in 2023 to receive the Global Top Employer certification. Phoenix Metalman Recycling acquires battery recycling business

Phoenix Metalman Recycling has acquired E-Cycle Solutions, a provider of responsible recycling of end of life electronic products and waste. The acquisition is 'another step for [Phoenix Metalman] towards creating the 'milk run' of battery recycling', enabling end-to-end battery recycling throughout Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond.
