NAP: Draft Plan out now

The Government has released its draft National Adaptation Plan for consultation, outlining how the top priority risks facing New Zealand will be addressed over the next six years. This is a significant step in raising awareness of climate change adaptation and building our resilience to the impacts of climate change

Congratulations to DB Breweries, ANZCO Foods and Ravensdown who were successful in securing Round Three funding from the Government Investment in Decarbonising Industry (GIDI) fund. Enhancing and expanding support for process heat conversions was one of the top recommendations we made with CLC in our joint response to the Emissions Reduction Plan discussion document.

New Zealand’s first Hydrogen car-share scheme

Toyota is leading the first commercial application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in New Zealand in a partnership with eight businesses sharing a fleet of four hydrogen-powered cars to run off green hydrogen. Spark, Beca, Air New Zealand, Westpac, Z Energy and The Warehouse Group are taking part in the trial

World class sustainability achievement for Christchurch Airport

Christchurch Airport have recorded a new milestone in their sustainability work, going beyond carbon neutral, to become climate positive. Since 2006 Christchurch Airport has cut its onsite operational emissions by 90% and are building a solar array capable of powering 30,000 homes. 

Unilever New Zealand appoints new Managing Director

Cameron Heath has been appointed Managing Director at Unilever New Zealand, taking over from predecessor Nick Bangs. Cam joins the Unilever New Zealand team after seven years with the global consumer goods company, most recently as General Manager Baltics based in Latvia.
