New CEO sees opportunity for LIC

Breaking records by gifting green

Going green was a popular choice for Kiwis this holiday season, with Trees That Count, a programme of the Project Crimson Trust, seeing a record-breaking 67,434 native trees gifted during December 2021. "We’re thrilled to see the movement of people keen to back our native forests for Christmas growing year on year," says Robyn Haugh, Project Crimson CEO.

New year, new office for Lion

Lion has opened its new head office at 136 Fanshawe Street, in a 6 Green Star building recognised by the New Zealand Green Building Council as meeting the highest available sustainability standard. The uniquely Lion space embraces sustainability while enabling easier collaboration and sociability among teams and bringing to life the company’s legacy and personality. 

Interviews: packaging innovation

New CEO for TIA

Congratulations to Rebecca Ingram, who will begin her new role as Chief Executive of Tourism Industry Aotearoa in March. Ms Ingram joins TIA from seven years at Tourism New Zealand, and says she is excited to be joining TIA at a critical time in the tourism industry’s history.
