Social purpose and a just transition 

Climate Change and Business Conference Session Sponsor Downer is revamping its sustainability strategy to embrace and act on its social purpose, explaining why that’s crucial in the move to decarbonisation in the latest Conference case study.

Making the move to hydrogen

HW Richardson Group has announced it is beginning the "commercially tough" journey of moving its 1,300-strong fleet to hydrogen, setting its first target of at least 10 hydrogen-fueled trucks on the road by next year.

Recycling tyres nationwide

Tyrewise, New Zealand’s first nationwide scheme for recycling used tyres, is set to go live next month after a successful application to the Government’s Waste Minimisation Fund. It will aim to recycle 6.5 million tyres per year.

Powering sustainable business travel

CarbonClick has partnered with travel marketplace Locomote to allow businesses to manage the sustainability of their travel through offsetting the carbon impact of their flights to verified projects that support reforestation, biodiversity, and clean energy development.

Recycle A Device with NZTE 

Chucking them into landfill is no longer the only option for discarding your old devices. In this case study, NZTE explains why it has partnered with Recycle A Device (RAD) to ensure that the company’s used devices could be kept in circulation sustainably, and benefit communities.
