This week's Fairfax article based on a UN Sustainable Development Goals features DB Breweries and Christchurch International Airport's work that aligns with Goal 6, Clean Water and Sanitation. DB's Corporate Affairs Director, Amber McEwen, said conserving water "made good sense" and Christchurch Airport's GM Strategy and Sustainability, Rhys Boswell, said, "It is our job, as kaitiaki, to ensure we do our best to look after this place. Westpac on responsible investment and women in power New research by Westpac NZ shows that almost half of KiwiSavers want to know more about where their funds are investedand two out of five prefer to have their money in companies making a positive difference. The bank also commissioned research into women in leadership roles, with the key finding that increasing the proportion of women in management roles to 50% could grow the economy by $881 million.
Vodafone seeks innovation ideas Vodafone's Innovation Fund is open for applications, closing Wednesday 31st January. The fund has been set up to support innovative work that aims to create better outcomes for NZ's most excluded and disadvantaged youth. Read more here.
