Take part in the third C-Suite Sustainability Snapshot Survey

In partnership with Deloitte and the Centre for Sustainable Finance: Toitū Tahua, we invite you to participate in our C-suite Sustainability Snapshot Survey, an evolution of previous years' CFO Survey. Taking part can help you better understand which sustainability initiatives your organisation can focus on to maximise your impact. The survey closes on 22 September and the results will be released at the end of November.

Celebrating the 2023 SLP cohort graduating

This week, nearly 50 people graduated from the 2023 Sustainability Leadership Programme, a course that's been run in partnership with Catapult since 2017. The programme is designed to help grow resilient sustainability leaders, regardless of their job title or industry. Congrats to this year's graduates! To learn more about SLP, register for the taster session on 9 February next year. 

   

RBNZ publishes results of CRD survey

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has released key insights from a survey of prudentially regulated entities about climate change, following an initial survey in 2019. Among the findings, at least 26 financial entities said they were somewhat vulnerable to rising climate threats. Read the survey results here.

   

Christchurch Airport wins award for waste minimisation efforts

Christchurch Airport’s new approach to minimising waste and its work mentoring other airports to become more sustainable has netted it two international awards: the ‘Green Airports Recognition 2023’ and the ‘Airport Carbon Accreditation - Mentor’ awards. Inaugural Future Workplace Forum - Digital Workplaces

HRNZ and the University of Auckland Business School, in association with Platinum Sponsor MAS, are holding the inaugural Future Workplace Forum in November 2023.  This annual event will deal with leading thinking and practice in the development of future workplaces in Aotearoa New Zealand. The inaugural event will focus on Digital Workplaces, looking at ways in which technological innovations are impacting our workplaces and how these might evolve in the future. The format for the Forum will include keynote speeches, Q&A sessions, panel discussions and exhibitor booths featuring relevant products and services.
