Inner Development Goals (IDGs)
Inner Development Goals (IDGs)
What are the IDGs?
The Inner Development Goals (IDGs) are a globally recognized framework that cultivates the skills and mindsets needed for sustainable change. Inspired by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), they emphasise personal growth as the foundation for solving global challenges.
Why Inner Development Matters
Lasting change starts within. By fostering self-awareness, resilience, and compassion, individuals become more effective change-makers in their communities and workplaces.
The Five IDG Dimensions:
- Being – Self-awareness & inner strength
- Thinking – Critical thinking & perspective-taking
- Relating – Empathy & connection
- Collaborating – Communication & trust-building
- Acting – Courage & perseverance
How Organisations Can Engage
Businesses worldwide are integrating IDGs into leadership, workplace culture, and sustainability efforts—enhancing well-being, decision-making, and impact.
