Pāmu - Landcorp Farming

Pāmu is a recognised leader in New Zealand’s agricultural sector. Pāmu stands for best practice in sustainable and safe farming, and for the unique provenance of New Zealand foods, nutrition products and fibre on global markets. We work with a wide variety of partners to innovate and improve farming practices across our portfolio of farms, and as a pathfinder for the wider agri-sector.

Pāmu is the brand name for Landcorp Farming Limited. We chose the Māori word ‘Pāmu’ not just for its literal meaning ‘to farm’ but also to reflect the Māori concept of guardianship of the environment .

Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with a nationwide portfolio of farms that produce milk, beef, lamb, wool, and venison along with forestry and horticulture. Pāmu strives to be a leader in New Zealand agriculture, carefully creating natural products of high quality for our network of processors, who take our product from the farm gate to the world.

We recognise our role as guardians of the land and are leading the way in sustainable farming to protect and enhance the environment.

Through subsidiary companies like FarmIQ (66% shareholding), Spring Sheep Milk Co (50%), Focus Genetics (100%) and Melody Dairy (35%) and our award winning deer milk product, we work to grow and innovate for the benefit of our shareholders, other farmers and all New Zealanders.
