Synlait is a Canterbury-based dairy processor committed to doing milk differently for a healthier world.
In 2024, we refreshed our sustainability strategy around three pillars: Climate (adaptation and mitigation), Nature (biodiversity, water, and circular economy) and Wellbeing (people and animals).
We hold science-based targets for Scope 1+2 and on-farm Scope 3 emissions. On farm, our Lead with Pride programme supports and incentivises farmers to reduce emissions and meet best practice across environment, animal welfare, social responsibility, and milk quality.
We are proud of the progress we are making year on year and remain committed to reaching our 2028 targets.
