Climate Change & Business Conference 2024

The Environmental Defence Society, Sustainable Business Council and Climate Leaders Coalition are pleased to announce the date for the 16th Climate Change & Business Conference.
The 2024 event will be held at the Viaduct Events Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland on 9-10 September.This year’s conference theme – Leading Climate Action – reflects the critical role of both business and government in securing our ambitions for the future, through maintaining momentum on emissions reductions and continuing to build our resilience to a rapidly warming world. A special focus will be on the increasingly vital part nature has to play in the equation. The programme will explore a range of themes, topics and emerging ideas supported by a lineup of compelling domestic and international speakers.

The conference is a timely opportunity for business, government and civil society to tackle the tough questions the country is facing, and to share innovative thinking and new ideas about how we can collectively accelerate emissions reductions while adapting to the burgeoning impacts of climate change.
