New expertise on the SBC Advisory Board

The Sustainable Business Council is thrilled to welcome four new Advisory Board members to the team. These senior executives will bring a diverse range of views, skills and interests to the organisation.

SBC is also delighted to welcome back Alistair Davis, Toyota CEO, who has been our Advisory Board Chair for three years. He brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and skills.

Our new Advisory Board members come from a diverse range of New Zealand industries: energy, transport, services and retail.

They are:

  • Simon Mackenzie, Chief Executive Officer, Vector
  • Kate Jorgensen, Chief Financial Officer, KiwiRail
  • Gareth Marriott, Managing Director, OCS
  • David Benattar, Chief Experience Officer, The Warehouse

SBC’s 12 Advisory Board members come from leading New Zealand companies, which are committed to making sustainability core to their strategy and operations. They have all expressed a clear vision of what sustainability should look like in 2017.

SBC would like to thank its outgoing board members for their huge contribution over the last few years. They have given a huge amount of their wisdom and advice to SBC.  Thank you Captain David Morgan from Air New Zealand, who has been our Deputy Board Chair for three years. And thank you Richard Gordon from Landcare Research, Mark Drury from AECOM and Jason Stein from Meridian Energy.
