SBC & CLC online workshop: Targets

As part of the Sustainable Business Council (SBC) and Climate Leaders Coalition’s (CLC) advocacy work with the Coalition Government, we are preparing a report identifying a range of practical climate actions to bend New Zealand’s emissions curve.

You are invited to join us for a virtual workshop during which we will present the key action areas detailed in the report, seeking your feedback and insights.

Once finalised, this report will form the foundation of our ongoing conversations with relevant Ministers working in the climate space. With the assistance of consultants Sapere, we are seeking to provide ideas which align with the Coalition Government’s key policies and priorities.

We will be seeking further engagement through the ERP2 process. We expect the Government to consult on this mid-2024 and will be in touch with more information once it is available. The purpose of this report is to enable proactive engagement with the Government.
