Danone Nutricia NZ

Danone Nutricia NZ

For over 100 years, Danone has been bringing health through food to as many people as possible through our unique range of products.
We believe that a healthy body needs healthy food, and healthy food needs a healthy planet – including sustainable ecosystems and resilient social structures.
Danone was the first publicly listed company to adopt the Société à Mission status created by the French Pacte law, embedding ambitious objectives across health, environment, social topics, and inclusiveness in its by-laws.
Locally, Danone ANZ is a certified B Corp across our specialised nutrition businesses and New Zealand supply point. Our Balclutha and Auckland factories are instrumental in creating infant formula brands Aptamil and Karicare, and we import a range of specialised medical nutrition products including Fortisip and Souvenaid.
We are led by the Danone Impact Journey, our sustainability framework that sets out a range of short and long-term targets. Our impact journey informs all our local initiatives, such as reducing GHG emissions, investing in regenerative agriculture, and improving our energy efficiency.
