New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE)
Te Taurapa Tūhono | New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is the New Zealand government's international business development agency. Our job is to support exporters in order to grow a productive, sustainable and inclusive economy. We work with all kinds of innovative businesses, including food producers, Māori land trusts and iwi, tech startups, service providers, manufacturers and more.
We have around 600 employees and 190 private sector advisors around the world who use their knowledge and connections to add value to ambitious New Zealand businesses who want to go global, for the good of New Zealand.
Kaitiakitanga is one of NZTE’s guiding values. It is the responsibility we have to care for people and place on behalf of future generations. It guides our advice to businesses and our international activities, and helps us express to the world what's special about Aotearoa New Zealand.
The natural world is the foundation of human wellbeing. When our environment is protected and flourishing, so are our people, our communities and our businesses – and genuine long-term sustainability is something the whole world is looking for.
