SkyCity Entertainment Group

SkyCity Entertainment Group

SKYCITY is a world class entertainment group with casinos at its heart. We operate in five cities across New Zealand and Australia – Auckland, Hamilton, Queenstown, Adelaide and Darwin.

We host more than six million visitors a year at our hotels, bars, restaurants, casinos, and the Sky Tower. We are proud to be part of the communities in which we operate and we actively give back through sponsorships, community grants and partnerships with leading charities.

Being a socially responsible business lies at the heart of our business strategy and we have world leading programmes that ensure our venues are some of the safest places to gamble. That commitment permeates all our operations and governance practices.

We take pride in our industry leadership in Host Responsibility, ensuring we remain at the forefront of international best practice in this area, continuing to provide an enjoyable, safe environment for all our customers. Our commitment to operating responsibly is our social licence to operate and ensures we remain a trusted part of society.

We are an important contributor to society, employing nearly 4,000 people across the Group and contributing millions in taxes and rates. Our diverse entertainment offering also drives local economies, attracts wealthy international visitors to New Zealand and Australia and generates valuable export earnings. Our three Community Trusts in Auckland, Hamilton and Queenstown have contributed more than $39 million to thousands of individual community organisations across New Zealand, supporting families to thrive and communities to prosper.

At SKYCITY we pride ourselves on being an employer of choice and we are a strong endorser of diversity in the workplace. We provide our staff with excellent training and clear career paths, and we have active leadership and talent development programmes. We are proud of our strong reputation as a good employer.
SKYCITY is proud to be a member of the Sustainable Business Council.
