Global action on climate change gathering pace at COP23
Fonterra’s group environment manager, Francesca Eggleton, is at COP23 in Bonn, filing video blogs for SBC with her insights and observations.
COP23 stands for the 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change. Officials from around the world are meeting to design a framework, which will help the signatories to the Paris Agreement meet their target to keep global warming within 2 degrees.

Fonterra’s Francesca Eggleton talks about the sense of urgency at COP23 to act on climate change, especially since the US withdrawl from the Paris Agreement. She also urges other Kiwi businesses to attend next year’s meeting, because it allows them to showcase what they are doing on the world stage, as well as meet some of the world’s top experts in climate change, from leading hydrogen scientists, to corporate soil carbon experts and, even, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
